Rituparna Sengupta receives Women Empowerment Award at UK’s House of Commons

Rituparna Sengupta was recently honoured with the Women Empowerment Award for Art and Culture at the House of Commons in the UK. The award was presented by Seema Malhotra and Virendra Sharma at an event organised by GloWomen CiC to mark International Women's Day. The event celebrated women across fields for their contributions, with Rituparna being recognised for her work in art and culture. Her husband, Sanjay Chakrabarty, was also present at the ceremony. Speaking about the honour, the Madam Sengupta said, “Very proud to receive the Woman Empowerment Award for Art and Culture at the House of Commons, Westminster Parliament UK. The event was organisedon the occasion of International Women’s Day… It was a very special moment for me indeed. Thank you Almighty, my parents, my family, my husband Sanjay Chakrabarty who was present there, my dear and near ones and my wonderful audience.”
